Herr's Potato Chips!

Following is an email exchange regarding Herr's brand potato chips.
----------------
Hi Mary,
I saw something this week, while in Philadelphia on business, that
reminded me of the reunion. Herr's potato chips. Truly. I'm not making
it up. Do you have those in Illinois? We don't have Herr's brand out here
on the west coast. So of course I had to try them. :-) There are zillions
of varieties but the baked potato chips, potato sticks, and the sourdough
pretzels have been thoroughly hand-taste-tested and deemed to be worthy of
carrying the Herr name. We might have to have additional testers at the
reunion.....

Hi all!
Yes, I found Herr's potato chips at Christmas at Target or K-Mart or one of
those stores and bought two bags. They are great! I saved one of the bags to
send to Mary, but lost it. They do have a website with the history of the
company. Don't think they are related.

And a photo of Mary's potato chip tin.

And, a photo of Betsy proudly showing that, even though she doesn't officially share the name, she is still "Herr's".

Herr's makes fine potato chips, and as creator and master of World of Potato Chips.Com I can attest to their appeal to many fans of potato chips. In our best chip ever contest, several Herr's mentions. There is an open review section where people can submit a review, so feel free to submit a review of the Herr's varieties in the 'chip reviews' section. http://www.world-of-potato-chips.com
